Fitzgerald Law was founded on the desire to provide clients with exceptional and personalized legal services.  After practicing law for almost a decade, John opened Fitzgerald Law to use his diverse range of experiences to help clients navigate the complexities of the legal system and achieve results.

John began his career with one of Michigan’s leading private practice law firms representing individuals, businesses, and municipalities in litigation throughout Michigan’s state and federal courts.  He focused on personal injury matters, municipal class action suits, and various commercial claims.

John continued his career with the staff counsel office of one of Michigan’s largest property and casualty insurance companies.  In this role, he managed a high volume caseload and successfully tried numerous cases before a jury.

After years of successful trial work, John joined the general counsel’s office of a national excess and surplus insurance company.  There he oversaw litigation across the United States including high exposure personal injury and wrongful death matters, construction defects, large scale commercial property damage and sports and recreation claims.
